Yesterday I, like many many others, waited with baited breath to see if I had been successful in the London Marathon Ballot. With two races in 2027, odds were doubled but, once again the dice didn’t roll in my favour.
This morning my wife told me of a Facebook friend who had got in first time and stated “It’s not fair as they definitely won’t run it!”. But is the ballot fair? I wrote a longer post last year actually running the numbers. I suggest checking it out because, as gutted as I am not to get in again, as a numbers geek I was able to see why!
